it's a little sensor/transmitter that mounts inside each tire, and transmits
information (tire pressure, sometimes temperature) to a receiver inside your
car... you can mount it on the dash, whatever... allows you to monitor tire
pressure/temp on the fly... a great thing - i thought Sears was installing
them, but apparently not. I've checked with a dozen tire shops in eight
cities, and none of them do... still looking. Going to install them in the
FrankenJeepster and the Trailwind...
