Hunter,
You ask about the 7th tire. I have 6 on the ground and the spare mounted
under the A frame just behind the hitch. I just happened to check the
spare before heading to Alaska and found out the person that owned the
rig before me had installed a "P" class tire instead of the "ST" class.
I decided this would not do for a trip to Alaska. We had a rig with 6
tires on the ground that had 7 flat tires during the trip. I like your
plan of "5 years and out" when it comes to tires, and only buy the best
possible tires. What ever that is!!!!!!
