The metal flange is held to the floor with screws and is locked under the
plastic flange that connects to the holding tank.  You must unscrew the
plastic, typical counter clockwise.  I had to weld a tool to fit the notches
inside the plastic retainer - it's really tough to get out.  Be careful and
don't get anxious and break the holding tank!  It's a $500 break.
