Hi Jon,, You water tank problem is not uncommon. I have a 31ft. 1978, 
center bath and the tank,(I think) leaks. But mine only leaks when 
full and not always. It seems as thou the leak is near the top. 
(possibly a fitting) Weather or not it leaks depends the inclination 
of the trailer and if it leaks at all, only a gallon may be lost. Or 
it may not leak at all when filled, but several miles later when 
rounding a corner. There is no evidence of water any where near the 
floor, only in the belly pan. Let me know what you find. Arnie
