Size not withstanding, you should be able to change either Tstat without 
removing the refer.
But, if you do, the secret is you have to remove the wall panel forward 
of the refer and you will have to remove the screws that come in from 
the cabinet aft of the refer, and last but not least you
have to detach the anchor strap attached to the back. Oh yeah and be 
careful to mark the wall thermostat wires before you take the wall out.
