I have a 2001 Ram diesel auto 2500 and absolutely love it.

I've towed our 29' Excella at 70 mph (80+ when passing) and the 
truck shows no sign of overheating nor straining.  I still get 12.6 
mpg towing at these speeds and 18 mpg+ when empty.  The 
ride is very good whether empy or loaded.  I would strongly 
recommend this truck to anyone who wants to tow.
