Arnie,
 I ordered a catalytic heater from RV Solar Electric while at the
Escapade and am considering mounting it as you describe. I'll probably
incorporate a fan(s) to help circulate the heat; I'm very fond of Muffin
Fans, as used in computers. A 3" muffin fan draws less than .2 amps, so
won't run the battery down overnight, and they really move the air.
