[A/S] Re: size of trailers

Terry,
 Lemme ask you about this:

We use a 25' trailer now, and find it really pretty adaquet, even on our
2-month trip last Winter. However, we looked at a 1983 30' Avion at the
Escapade and asked for "first right of refusal" if/when the owners go
full-time and buy a 5'er as they are planning. It was gorgeous, seemed
to be in mint condition, and was roomy beyond compare, sida ours.

But, everything has a downside, as you know. It'll be heavier, harder to
back into a campsite, will rule out some campsites (we stayed in 2 WV
state parks on the way to the Escapade where the campsites were just
barely adaquet for our present rig), etc.

Our truck is probably adaquet for towing that heavier trailer, God knows
that folks tow MUCH more than that with a 3/4-ton Dodge, but it'll be
pushing the book's tow limit.

What's your thoughts on the tradeoffs?
