Most manufactures pay a servicing dealer much less for warranty 
repairs than the dealers normal hourly rate for traditional repairs. 
A dealer will find it economically difficult to do low paying 
warranty work when he can make good money making normal repairs. The 
dealer who sells a new product knows he may have to do some "factory 
repairs". Most dealers don't like to do warranty work at all and they 
certainly don't like it when they didn't make any profit on the unit 
in the first place. But there can be no excuse for rudeness. Good
