Just to be a Devil's Advocate. Have you considered that the 'best' price you
got might have been because the dearler was far enough away from you that
they knew they didn't have to factor in the warranty work - that you would
take it to a dealer closer to home?
It's probably natural that Camper Clinic would want to keep their own
purchasers happy over those who bought elsewhere. A satisfied
purchaser/customer is more likely to send more business their way. Although
Thor probably pays the dealer for the warranty work - they can't recompense
the dealer for bad feelings if someone who bought an A/S there can't get
serviced on a speedy basis.
No, I don't think the dealer had any right to be rude to you. Maybe you said
some little something that 'pushed his buttons' and maybe he was just having
a bad day. ;o)
Now I'll wait for the rotten tomatoes to fly. No, I have nothing to do with
Camper Clinic - I'm in Calif and don't even know what city they are in.
