I did the southwest..... very few insects yes, but too many sticker paws for 
the dogs.  Poor Tucker couldn't play much Frisbee because grass is so hard to 
find.

<Have you ever tried a A/S Caravan or WBCCI Club caravan?  Some of those 
leaders have scouted out things no one else finds.     Even just with 2 or 3 
trailers to share the sights with are a joy.    >>

No, I am not tempted by caravans...... I like to choose where I go and when 
..... I also don't like to travel more than about 2 hours on days that I 
travel, because of the cats. Frankly, they are so expensive...... the price 
puts me off too..... 

My favorite thing is to travel with friends, me in my rig...they in theirs... 
but not an official caravan.
