[A/S] Airstream Vent Fan Addition

Dear Airstream Owners,

I have been reading your tips and travels for many months. Many of 
your suggestions guided me in selecting my first Airstream78 - 28' 
Ambassador Land Yacht.  it was located on a old Virginia farm where 
the owners had no pets in it, nor did they smoke. There it was, 
beside an old barn, in excellent condition. New tires, no marks on 
it, with roll out awning all around. So did many of the thing you all 
told me to do.  I then purchased it with no way to pull it. It was 
264 miles to get home.  So again, I applied many suggestions:  Get a
good Ford truck(98).  I pulls it very well. I now have everything at
home for 2002 travels. My wife passed away in April, age 73 and will 
visit many parts of the country - the Lord willing and the creeks 
don't rise.

I have acquired add-on  FAN KITS for my roof vents.  The 12volt DC 
motors come with an on off switch. If you pick-up an CENTER-OFF 
TOGGLE SWITCH(#275-653A-Radio Shack), you can use this for your 
switch instead.  The advantage is that you can change the direction 
of the motors rotation. Connect the 12 volt DC to the center 
terminals. Chris-cross the outer terminals by co;nnnecting a wire 
across in the form of an "X".  Connect the fan motor wires to either 
end terminals of the switch.  Just connect them to the same end of 
the switch. When the switch is in the center it is off, when switched 
in either direction from center fan turns in one direction or the
other.
