EU3000is runs my Dometic Penguin 13,500 btu a/c, 1948 Marvel fridge 
and a few lights no problem... sometimes if it's working really hard 
to start up you may have to turn off the ECO THROTTLE while starting 
up the a/c and then you can turn the ECO THROTTLE back on and it 
cycles abck down to a lower RPM (quieter and runs longer, you want 
this) and everything's then OK.

I'd strongly suggest actively ducting the exhaust out of your van... 
not sure that just sliding the door open will do the trick... at the 
very least you may get a headache from breathing the fumes, the very 
worse, well, can be worse.
