I don't live within the membership system.... I only use it if I'm headed to 
a place and there happens to be a Coast to Coast there.... I always check the 
book.... if there's one on the way I use it.  I stay at two C to C 
campgorunds on the way to Florida and back... the savings for those two 
places pays for my annual fee. 

Due to a bizarre set of circumstances... being a Coast to Coast member saved 
my life.

I was in a Coast to Coast park in Rapid City, SD. The *only* park in Rapid 
City to get hit by a terrible hail storm on June night in 2000.  I had 
$16,000 damage to the trailer and Bruiser sustained $4,000.00 damage.  
Allstate paid me for Bruiser (who still wears his battle dents proudly) but 
Foremost refused to pay for the damages to the trailer unless I got it 
repaired.

We went round and round til late March of this year, when they finally said, 
"Get it fixed or forget it." So, I made an appointment for a Monday morning 
to take it into Walt's RV in Ocala. 

On Thursday a tornado went through the farm where I had been staying for the 
last two winters.... knocking down 30 huge live oaks...  One landed where the 
trailer would have been if I hadn't stayed in that Coast to Coast park the 
previous summer. The tree would have flattened the trailer with me, the dogs 
and the cats inside.
