Hi

As an ASE certified Technician I asure you that if the flow is continual and 
does not remain in the block it will not cool and pull the heat out. I do 
agree that increasing the radiator capacity is a very good idea if you are 
going to be towing. Some manufactures in vehicles with towing packages 
actualy put in lower rated thermostats and larger clutch fans and radiators. 
How ever they never just remove a thermostat as a way to keep an engine 
cooler. It doesn't.
