[A/S] Michelin XCA Replacement
the Michelin XCA 7.00R15 was standard equipment on my '77 Airstream 31
Sovreign. Lode Range D I might add.
Per said his late '90's had the Marathon ST225R15 Load Range C?? those are
much heavier trailers than the '70's.
At any rate, last week I begrudgingly put on Tow-Master ST225R15 "D" as the
XCA's had dry rotted. My normally great locally owned tire store says they
"make" the Marthon for Goodyear.....
Jim Hegemen WBCCI#246 recommended a chain store in West Hartford, CT, Town
Fair Tire. the guy did find a replacement,,,,to late for me though
Bridgestone R230 7.00R15 "D"
Hope this helps anyone with a '70's vintage Airstream looking to replace the
XCA's
I'll probably get them in the spring and sell the ST225's. they cause the
trailer to sit at least in inch lower than normal, sometimes that counts
