If they were new in 1985, they were old in 1990.  No matter how good 
they look, they are a hazard to your trailer, your health, and possibly 
your (or someone else's) life now.  Save them for a swing
in the back yard.

Trailer service, especially RV, is the toughest service there is for a 
tire.  Months in one place, usually in the Sun for at least part of the 
day, then off to the interstate for a couple of hundred,
or even thousand high speed miles.  Blown tires will tear up an 
Airstream.  I've had it happen, as has Hunter.  See her web site.  Three 
weeks ago one of the attendees at the Washington DC Unit Mount
Washington Rally had a tire let go on his way up to NH.  Flogged the 
side of his coach up to the window line.  Not pretty.  My damage was not 
as brutal, but it was damage.

I would just figure the price of 4(?) new tires as part of the price of 
the trailer.
