Hello All,
  We have recently purchased a 69 Caravel.  I have been searching for 
years for a small AS and finally found one in decent shape and in my 
price range, it even has the original owners manual!  The interior 
needed some work so I reupholstered the cushions and made curtains 
myself with wonderful Velcro! We would like to purchase the little 
awnings for the windows, any ideas? I am not able to access any 
photos that you refer to being posted at Yahoo, is that because I am 
a new member?  I would love to see other photos of Caravels, ours has 
blue stripes on the back and I am not sure if this was done in 69.  
Or iwas someone trying to update the look of this year.  We replaced 
the hot water heater but need to repair the heater now. Not sure if 
we should attempt this ourselves.  The unit is original equipment. 
I'm not sure of the mfg but the control unit is a "Unitrol 1000".  
Curently the pilot light is not  lighting. We would greatly 
appreciate any info that might help. Does any one know what to check 
to trouble shoot it?  I've done soap and water tests  on the gas 
lines and they are sound.    Everything else seems to be working 
fine.  We just returned from our first weekend camping with it and 
thoroughly enjoyed the trailer.  I look forward to reading all of 
your posts and was thrilled to find you!  Diane and bob Ingalls from
