Hi,
In the process of sorting out the wiring in my 1976 Ambassador, we are
replacing the 7-way female connector mounted on the front panel of the
trailer behind the gas bottles. Inside the trailer, there is an inspection
panel (which can only be reached by dismantling the front gaucho),  and all
the wires from the connector go into individual insulated metal boxes about
1" x 1/2" in size.
Can anyone tell me what these are, and if they ever need
replacing........if so, I want to do it now, or eliminate them, because
once I re-upholster the gaucho, I don't want to ever remove it again...lol
