[A/S] Finish Question

Hunter and othe listees -

The last posting [A/S] Newbie Needs Help! Clearcoat Question! has prompted 
my questions.

I started to clean up the outside of my 64 Tradewind and here are the 
problems I've encountered -

1.  Polishing with buffer and various grades of metall, rolite and perfect 
polish I have areas of aluminum that have a milky (not clear) whitish area 
surrounded by really great looking skin with a high polish. Several 
polishings have not changed anything.

2. Some areas have what appears to be brush strokes of something that looks 
like smeared rubber cement.  I've tried laquer thinner, Pro Stripper, Kleen 
Strip, and Liquid Stip - ALL to no avail.

Help!!!!
