[A/S] Another Clear Coat Question

Hi All,

I've been lurking mostly for a while and have learned a great deal about
removal of clear coat, polishing the aluminum, sealing the cracks and etc.
I do still have one question I have not seen any opinion on to date and
would like to ask the list.

We've got the '89 Excella 29' trailer and about a year ago the clear coat
on top started turning white and peeling off leaving ever larger spots of
aluminum showing. I have learned that a twice a year coating of car wax
might have prolonged this action. I am perparing to remove the clear coat,
polish and seal, but really don't know if I should reapply the clear coat.

So here is the question, if you had the same trailer, and it was polished
as you have described, would you reapply clear coat or just wax it and
leave it bare?
