The Armstrong "Bay Breeze" ac's were used as long as they were made. 
Sounds more like a hurricane than a breeze, but they work like crazy. If 
you compare components with newer RV ac's the difference
is significant. The Armstrongs were commercial grade parts. Airstream 
then had to change to a Coleman Delta TX that had inside/outside air and 
did a decent job. When that one went away they changed
to the Penguin. They have used the Penguin on all their trailers ever 
since. Until the 34' slide came along with 50A service and two ac's the 
only way to get more AC cooling was by very, very special
order, and even then rarely. So it's been about 13 model years with the 
Penguin.
