When I first bought this farm last December I lived in the trailer parked in 
the yard....
for about 2 weeks the temps were below 10 degrees at night!!  It got warm 
enough some days to thaw the water hose, but I would get up in the mornings 
to 7 degrees...9 degrees......

I have a heat pump which I use in chilly weather, but you better believe I 
had the furnace cranking. The reason? So my pipes and holding tanks wouldn't 
freeze. They didn't. I was going through a 30# tank of propane every 3.5 
days.... but it was warm and toasty inside.
