If your 97 is trailer ready, there will be a trailer
harness in the rear right hand comparment at the back
of your van. Remove the rear access panel and you
should see a harness taped up inside the compartment,
how to tell if your astrvan is trailer ready? it
should have 2 leaf springs instead of the single
fiberglass spring. If it's trailer ready there is a
redand blue wire taped up under the hood, usually on
the passenger side firewall, red needs to go to power
and blue is for your trailer brake. There is no
connection under the dash so your brake control needs
to tie into the light side of your brake switch
