My Coleman A/C requires about 18 amps to start up, then it drops off to near
12.  My EU-3000 does just fine, but I think your 2000 is marginal for
starting current.  It might work if you have _nothing_ else running, and if
it's a cool day.

One thing that might help is a small, removable awning over the A/C unit to
help keep it cooler at startup time.
