[A/S] Propane regulator - '66 Safari

The old Sel-a-Matic on my '66 Safari is just a convenient way to vent 
propane to the atmosphere.  It appears that after 25 years in the 
desert sun, the gaskets are shot.

I found a couple of regs. at camping world, but would like to draw 
upon the vast real world experience that you all have.  I already had 
the tanks re-certified and fitted with OPDs.  What brand should I go 
with?  Safety and reliability are my main concerns....
