[A/S] Re: RV insurance
They are similar to Allstate in coverage. The differences are......
1. RV insurance covers towing for both trailer & tow vehicle.
2. contents are covered for the price you paid... new for old.
3. Personal contents away from trailer
4. reimburses up to 750.00 for lodging if trail unuasble due to
covered loss
5. Campsite liability up to 25,000
6.Disappearing deductible.. for every year with no claim 25% off
7. Mexico coverage when liability is maintained.
8. TV antenna, awning, sat dishes automaticaly covered.
9. Dolly covered, even if not attached.
10. THE BIG ONE-Total loss replacement...if trailer is 5 years oldor
less you get a brand new one... if more than 5 years you get what you
paid for it... for the life of the policy!!
11. Purchase price coverage six to 10 years old....
12. Fulltimer coverage which inc liability
Places like State Farm, Allstate etc do not have this on their
policies... only the RV insurance companies offer all this......
This is all costing less than $100.00 more than Allstate for a
year... if I had to buy a towing policy it would be more per year for
Allstate....
It's definitely worth it to get RV insurance I think.
