We only use Vulkem when installing a new segment or
skin, window, A/C drain pan, in short,overlapping
metal pieces. The seams of the segments and window
edges should be sealed with an aluminum sealer
(parbond), only to keep dirt out, the underlaying
Vulkem should keep any installed component
water-tight. Have you checked your vents?, both
skylight and plumbing?
