Good question.  I've been wondering the same thing.  I write software 
for a living, and I'd like to be able to take consulting jobs while 
living on the road.  In order to do this, I have to have an
internet connection.  Worst case I suppose I could wait until we have 
access to a phone hookup (assuming they exist in RV parks), but I'd like 
a more permanent solution.  If anyone can share the
methods they use to stay connected while traveling, I'd appreciate 
hearing them.

One solution I was considering is StarBand (www.starband.com), who offer 
a high-speed, two-way satellite feed.  But after contacting the company, 
I discovered that they don't support mobile
applications like RV's, though they do claim to be working on it.  It's 
something to keep an eye on.

Has anyone here found a mobile internet connection?  Satellite?  
Wireless modem?  Cell phone?  Any ideas greatly appreciated.
