Sara,

If avoiding a hole in the side or floor of your A/S is not acceptable, you
could install a phone jack in the rear service compartment and run the wires
internally along the floor or inside wall through the wardrobe closet, under
the bunk, through storage compartments, etc. to a wall in the space where
you wish the phone jack to terminate.
