Sorry, I wrongly assumed it worked on LP; if you feel heat then it's 
likely not the element. Brian's advice for making sure the unit is 
level is good. Also the advice of checking the rvmobile site. There 
is a "burping" procedure (removing the unit and turning it upside 
down)you can read about there which revives some dead units. You've 
probably got nothing to lose by doing this if leveling doesn't fix 
it. Just test it before you put it back. As far as the Dometic in my 
Silver Streak, it worked fine on LP but not 110. The interior plastic 
was cracked, deteriorated and the freezer door hinge was broken. 
Given all that I elected to replace the refrigerator with a new 
Dometic. I would have rather used a Norcold but the were too wide to 
fit in the space. The Dometic was an exact fit.

My trailer needed all new plumbing as the thin-wall coppper had all 
split from freeze damage as had the water heater. The old pressurized 
water tank was also rusted out. I did all the near plumbing (around 
the pump and tank ) in 1/2" copper and all the runs in 5/8" PEX w/ 
compression fittings. I found a 38 gallon poly tank that fit 
perfectly in the space of the old tank. I also installed a 2 gallon 
accumulator. I was able to put a 6 gallon Suburban water heater in 
the same hole as the old MobileTemp by removing the housing of the 
MobileTemp and fitting it to the replacement unit. Thus I was able to 
use the MobileTemp exterior door and preserve the look of the 
trailer. I also replaced the sink fixtures in the kitchen and bath. I 
also installed a monitor panel with probes on the fresh and 
blackwater. There is no greywater tank.

My electrical didn't need anything but some new light fixtures. For 
12VDC electrical work, get one of those test lights with a sharp, 
insulation piercing probe. Also a digital volt meter is a must. 
There is likely a fuse somewhere in the line to your pump.  If you 
don't have a electrical schematic perhaps someone on the list can get 
one to you. 

Your right; just take it one thing at a time. Sometimes the simplest 
things seem to take the most time. I have some pics, including the 
plumbing work) but haven't uploaded them yet. I'll let you know when 
I do.
