Chuck, not to be the bearer of bad news, but if anything gets too hot to the
touch inside the fridge access door, the chances are that the problem isn't
the 110V heating element. Instead, it's more likely the fridge cooling unit
has gone bad and will have to be replaced. That's more trouble and more
money than the heating element replacement unfortunately.
