[A/S] Argosy Motorhome seating modifications

Hi, new list subscriber here

I have been trying to find a good shop in the San Jose, CA general area that does
good work on major modifications to an older RV's main seats. I am buying a 1976
Argosy 24 and I need to put safer (and more comfortable) driver and passenger seats,
add another passenger seat (hopefully one that will fold down and align with the
front passenger seat for occasional 3rd bed use) and some other modifications.  (the
original dinette second seat has been long since taken out by a previous owner, but
I wouldn't have wanted it anyway.)

Does anybody have any recommendations or experience with this?  When I called the
major RV service shops they say to go to the dealer, when I call the dealers they
say to go to an upholstery shop, when I call the upholstery shops they say they
cannot do it because of liability problems...

Any ideas?
