Hi John,
 if by any chance you are now brave enough to face our customs
 people at the Canadian boarder, after reading the some of the posts,
 I can give you directions to a nice not great place to stay on this
 side. Its 5min walk from the Whirlpool. I have been on both sides 
 and I sure know which side has done the best job of a great tourist 
spot, but then you see what you think. By the way I have to face the 
rath of the American customs. Just don't try bringing in any hand 
guns etc etc.
