I just read of an Airstream related appeal for help on one of my animal
transport lists. A bird sanctuary in SE Virginia has been given a 31'
Airstream to use for evacuating the birds. It is on Long Island, and the
sanctuary is looking for somebody with the time and a suitable tow
vehicle to deliver it. They are willing to pay for gas and tolls. If you
can help, they can be contacted at  thebeakspeaks@yahoo.com,
jake@rescueme.org   or rescuemeinfo@aol.com. They also have a website;
www.rescueme.org  This is a "guaranteed to make you feel good" thing.
