Thanks very much -- interesting account. I somehow knew it was a test bed
for something but didn't know what. I should have guessed steering from the
four-corner wheel arrangement. I imagine your information will prompt some
further comments.

One of which may be the reference to the purchase of the Airstream Company
by W.R. Grace. There has been a thread on this subject recently and there is
no knowledge of that having happened. It's not listed in the Airstream
history fact sheet given to visitors to the Airstream plant for tours. I'm
sure the historians among us would be grateful for any additional
information you might have about the sale to W.R. Grace. When did it occur
and how long was Airstream owned before it was resold?
