Terry,
 When you were going downhill in 2nd, did you notice whether the
transmission heated up to any degree? The torque converter is unlocked
(assuming a lockup converter) during such driving unless you have
special provisions to force lockup. Because of its being unlocked, you
can get heating, or so I hear.... True, or not?
