Brian,

There are trailers and then there are trailers..... when I was shopping for 
tires I was told to buy load range D for my Airstream.  I wonder if the C 
rated tires you mentioned are maybe for little boat trailers or utility 
trailers.  

As you work for Firestone could you check and see what weights load ranges C 
and D are meant to carry.  Obviuosly D rated tires are built to carry heavier 
loads than Cs.
