I tow mine 1998 34' with a 2500 GMC Sierra with the Vortec 6000 Gas 
engine,  a 4:10 rear end, and the heavy duty tow package good for 11,200 
lbs. I have pulled it from Key West to Maine and lots of
other places in between, and have not had any problems at all. It is a 
very good tow vehicle. I did not mention it is the extended cab unit 
with a short box. I also connect it to the A/S with a
Hensley Arrow hitch.
