[A/S] GFI problem

For you electrical wizzards out there you may be able
to help me.

I have the new A/S in the drive plugged into a 20 amp
GFI circuit in my garage.  I have an extension cord
(25ft 10 ga) connected to the A/S power cable by way
of an adapter.   All has gone well up to now.  I've
run all the appliances including the air and fridge
(on electric and gas) without problems.

I went out today and purchased a combo 13" TV and VCR
which sits on the cabinet in the front of the trailer.
 I plugged in the TV and ran it for about 5 minutes or
so when the power to the trailer suddenly went off.  I
went downstairs in the house and found the GFI breaker
tripped.  I reset the breaker only to have the same
thing happen after I turned the TV on and played it
for a few minutes again.  Keep in mind that no other
electrical appliances are on in the trailer or on this
circuit in the house so this can't be a load issue.

I figured it has to be the GFI that is throwing the
breaker since a short in the TV should have thrown the
breaker in the A/S.  I moved the extension cord to
another outlet which doesn't have a GFI and the TV
stayed on without problems.  I moved the cord back to
the GFI outlet and it popped again after about 5
minutes.

My neighbor thought that it might be a bad component
in the TV so I took it back and exchanged it for an
identical model.  I got home and hooked up the second
TV and after 5 minutes the GFI breaker in the house
popped again.  I turned off the TV and reset the
breaker and the power stayed on.  

What puzzles me is that the plug on the TV is two
pronged and I was told that the GFI circuit is looking
for power flowing to the ground wire.  I'll probably
try my old TV that I used on my dealer campout a week
ago last Thursday night tomorrow and see if it happens
again.

The only other thing I can think of is the extension
cord, but I can't see how the TV contributes to the
problem since the air conditioning and fridge ran ok
in earlier tests with the same cord.

Does anyone have some guidance as to what I do next? 
I'm somewhat stumped.
