Hi Robert (rnorton@altavista.net),

Before you get too far into replacing the banana wrap, you may want to consider reshaping and
smoothing it out? Although I have never had occasion to do that, I've read many postings by those
who have done it. Apparently, it's not anywhere near as difficult as replacing it and the results
can be outstanding. 

Suggestion: Check the Vintage Airstream Club archives. Here is a recent posting by Tom Patterson who
is keeper of this 20,000+ item archive. If you need some help using it, send Tom an email.
