How about a new subject to change the pace a little?  I expect to leave
Southern Oregon in two weeks headed "North To Alaska" on an extended tour.
My copy of "The Milepost" is already getting a little dog-eared.  The red
print warnings about the unpaved, steep, winding, narrow road will not keep
the Suburban from trying to make it all the way to the Arctic Circle.  The
goal is Summer Solstice (June 21st) to enjoy 24 hours of sun.  The AS will
remain safely in Fairbanks.

Does anyone on the list have any recent experience Alaska they would like to
share?
