Re: [A/S] A/S Cleaning and Wax/Polishing??

I and others have success with "Dawn" dishwashing detergent for washing
trailers. Most often recommended polish for clearcoated airstreams is
a product produced by Walbernize. Their is a specific productfor later
model trailers such as yours and a different one for early models. There
Web site: WWW.walbernize.com, seems to suggest their product called
"permaguard" although I have not know of it called that name. This
product, as I understand it, treats the clear coat and keeps it flexible
and deters it from the out and flaking off. Check with your Airstream
dealer. Often they carry it in stock. Last but not least lot of people
have had success using plain automobile wax. The assumption being that
any surface protecting product is an asset. Otherss will maybe speak up
on this issue.
