Re: [A/S] First overnight stay and delivery

Karen Waldo .....Its what we have been saying for over 30
years.....there needs to be an active contact with all purchasers of new
or used A/S. I carry applications with me and have for
years.....when you talk to a "baldie" and they want to sign up do it
now and then don't wait for Jackson Center to contact all these unit and
region officers you do it....write the Region Pres
kwhere your prospective member lives, write to Unit kofficer, keep in
contact with the prospective member to make sure they are contacted.
I can tell you of horrow stories of people trying to
join and being ignored.......Last year even gave my computer guru a
membershp as a thank you when he bought an A/S and talked another
couple into joining (they are both teachers and said they would
not be able to make rallies since they still work) Many still think
WBCCI ka bunch of stuffed shirts....so how do we break down that
old attitude????? Be friendly and keep in touch to make sure they are
contacted...
Good Sam, Escapees, LOA's are all gaining new members so we have to work
at it.Pearl in so Cal 37 year member
