[A/S] Stove burners

My 66 Safari has a 4 burner Magic Chef that works just fine.  Only problem 
is that the burners are old and the underside is rusty and burnt.  Every 
time I cook I have to clean black particles of the old burners that break 
off and fall onto the enamel surface.

Is there a way to arrest this problem OR can I find new burners that have 
the same metal hold down springs as the original?
