It plugs into the plug I mentioned you will need installed under the rear 
bumper. The plug you install will attach to your wiring.... the wiring you 
said your truck already has.  

IOW you have what's in the middle. The plug gopes at the back end and the 
brake controller at the front end.

You will be plugging the trailer into the truck.

Then the trailer will have lights, turn signals, emergency flashers, brakes 
and will have its batteries recharged while you are driving.... cool huh?
