Re: [A/S] Moen Faucet Revisited

Hunter -
You may have noticed o-rings at the top and/or bottom of the 'cartridge'
(and yes, this has been the way faucets have been constructed, for
decades)... it sounds to me like the leak is the result of a
crack/ding/hairline fracture/corrosion/mineral deposits on one of the o-ring
sealing surfaces... inside the 'body' of the faucet itself - hence, not a
'cartridge-replacement fix'. If that's the case, the faucet will need to be
cleaned (mineral deposits) or replaced. If you replace it with the same
model, you can use the same cartridge, if the o-ring(s) hasn't/haven't been
damaged.

Hope everything's okay back on the farm.
