Thanks ya'll!  Yes, it was the fuse!  Duh!  Wonder how come?  Is this 
something that happens with the old trailers? Should I carry spares!  
Or maybe a short? or ground? or something I don't want to know about? 
I have another electrical question I need to ask...but need to get my 
info together first! Again, thanx for pin-pointing the problem.
