[A/S] Shock mounts

Got an e-mail from a fellow A/S fanatic that suggested the obvious. The 
old shock rubber bushings are in two pieces; take the new bushing out of 
the top mount, and cut it in half, and slip each piece onto the mount 
one at a time (bushing piece-shock eye-bushing piece), and tighten 
everything down.
With a world-class "DuH!", I had the shock on in less than five minutes.
Now, for the other three....
