Consider why an arrow has a heavy end and why old VW's with the engine in 
the rear were no fun to drive in a crosswind ... now apply these
physical properties to two rolling masses with a moveable link between 
them.... I'll take mine with 12% tounge weight..... Years ago i towed
a 1300# pop-up camper with a full size van (about 6,000# loaded) when
i packed the camper any old way it was all over the back of the van.
it didn't affect handling but i didn't like the  way it was tracking
behind me. when i repacked the load favoring the weight to the front
the little camper looked like it was on rails behind me. get the weight
ballance right first; then adjust your spring bars..... Todds right
